Mitsubishi is showcasing its latest ladder frame SUV - the new generation Mitsubishi Pajero Sport - at the 2016 Thai Motor Expo. The 2017 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is now on sale globally, and starts at 11,64,000 baht in Thailand.
The 2017 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport measures 4,785 mm in length, 1,815 mm in width and 1,805 mm (with roof rails) in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,800 mm and a ground clearance of 218 mm. It can be had in 5- and 7-seat seating configurations.
The right-hand drive Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is internationally offered in two trim levels: GLX and GLS. The Pajero Sport 2WD can be had with a 2.5-litre diesel engine that produces 100 kW and 324 Nm of torque, a 2.4-litre diesel engine that develops 133 kW and 430 Nm of torque or a 3.0-litre petrol engine good for 161 kW and 285 Nm of torque. The Pajero Sport 4WD is available only with the two diesel engines, and transmission choices for both 2WD and 4WD models include 5-speed manual, 5-speed automatic and 8-speed automatic.
LED headlamps, LED daytime running lights, LED tail lamps, 18-inch alloy wheels, electric parking brake, dual-zone automatic climate control, 510-watt, 8-speaker sound system, rear entertainment system with 2 headphones, Blind Spot Warning (BSW), Ultrasonic misacceleration Mitigation System (UMS) and Forward Collision Mitigation system (FCM) are some of the noteworthy features of the 2017 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport.
