Mercedes-Benz Thailand is showcasing the 2017 Mercedes E-Class saloon and the 2017 Mercedes E-Class Estate at the 2016 Thai Motor Expo. The new generation E-Class, due in India next year, is already retailing in Thailand.
The 2017 Mercedes E-Class saloon is available exclusively in the E 220 d engine model, in two trim levels: Exclusive, AMG Sport and AMG Dynamic. Under the bonnet, there's a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 143 kW (194 hp) at 3,800 rpm and 400 Nm of torque at 1,600-2,800 rpm. Power is sent to the wheels via the 9G-TRONIC 9-speed automatic transmission.
MULTIBEAM LED headlamps, LED daytime running lights, AMG bodystyling, 19-inch AMG light-alloy wheels, twin-pipe exhaust system, electric panoramic sliding glass sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, COMAND Online infotainment system with navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Burmester surround sound system and wireless charging are some of the highlights of the E-Class saloon.
The 2017 Mercedes E-Class Estate is also available exclusively in the E 220 d engine model, but it's offered only in the high-end AMG Dynamic trim level. The estate version is powered by the aforementioned 143 kW (194 hp) 2.0-litre diesel engine and features 9G-TRONIC 9-speed automatic transmission. The saloon version starts at 39,90,000 baht (INR 76,65,314.53), and the estate version is priced much higher at 47,40,000 baht (INR 91,06,163.12).
