Reported to draw cues from the Chinese-spec Honda Greiz.
According to Car Dekho, the new Honda City (facelift) is expected to launch in mid-January 2017. The report goes on to say that unofficial bookings will be taken shortly. If true, the facelifted City arrives three years after the current model went on sale in January 2014.
It is reported that the facelift will borrow cues from the China-spec Honda Greiz; a City-based sedan manufactured and sold by Dongfeng-Honda in China. Some of the features we can expect include projector headlamps in top-end variants, bigger grille with more chrome garnish, larger alloy wheels with diamond-cut finish, and revised taillamps with LED lighting.
The interior design and all-black dashboard is reported to be retained. Top-end variants will continue to get a sunroof, leather upholstery, start/stop button and a new touchscreen infotainment system with support for Apple Carplay and Android Auto.

The facelifted City will keep the current engines, which are a 1.5L i-VTEC 4-cyl engine and 1.5L i-DTEC 4-cyl turbodiesel engine. The only mechanical update to expect is a standard 6-speed manual gearbox for the petrol variant, as offered on the Honda BR-V.
