Car and Bike have posted these images of the top-end Tata Hexa XT variant, ahead of its launch expected in the coming days. The Hexa in the spyshot features a 6-speed manual transmission (the automatic variants have an 'A' suffix to their variant names), 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, projector headlights, LED daytime running lights and dual exhaust tips.
As mentioned earlier, the Tata Hexa will be powered by the 2.2-liter four-cylinder VariCOR 400 diesel engine capable of 156 PS at 4,000 rpm and 400 Nm of torque between 1,700-2,700 rpm. The SUV measures 4,788 mm in length, 1,903 mm in width and 1,791 mm in height and 2,850 mm in wheelbase.
The Hexa is expected to be sold in 2WD and 4WD variants, with a Terrain Management System available on the top-end variants. The selector has four driving modes - Rough Road, Comfort, Auto and Dynamic. The Hexa is also expected to offer two seating configurations - 6-seater with captains chairs on the second row and 7-seater with a conventional bench for the second row.

When launched, the Tata Hexa will rival the Mahindra XUV500. Expect prices to range between INR 12 lakhs and extend to around INR 18.5 lakhs, ex-Showroom, Mumbai.
