2017 Duke 390 expected next month.
Overdrive states that the next-generation KTM RC390 will have its unveiling towards the later part of 2017. It is anticipated to premiere at the EICMA show which will take place towards the October-November period.
At this year's EICMA, which will start on November 10, the next-generation 2017 KTM Duke 390 will have its world premiere. Many reports state that KTM will adapt the current Duke 390's 373.2 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine in the next generation Duke 390 and RC390, and that a power increase is anticipated.
In the current Duke 390, this engine develops 43.5 PS and 35 Nm of torque, and comes paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The Euro-spec models get a conventional exhaust canister which is EU-4 compliant, whereas the Indian model gets an underbelly exhaust. Also, for Europe, the motorcycle is equipped with the ride-by-wire system.
The report also highlights that until the new RC390 is launched, KTM will be selling the new and advanced 2017 Duke 390 and the current RC390 simultaneously.
