Features a redesigned front end and updated 1.5L TDI engine.
Skoda Auto India today confirmed that the new Skoda Rapid (facelift) will launch for sale on November 3. This is the first major facelift for Skoda's entry-level sedan since it was introduced in 2011.
Recent spyshots have revealed all of the changes in the facelifted Rapid, which include a wider 'butterfly' grille directly flanked by angular headlamps with DRL, and new bumper design with larger foglamps. The changes up front are akin to the Euro-spec Rapid and Fabia, while the rear-end retains the outgoing Rapid's styling.
Inside, the new Rapid will continue to offer a dual-tone black-and-beige cabin. Equipment wise, the range-topping variant will feature a touchscreen entertainment system with the MirrorLink and Bluetooth support, GPS navigation and reverse camera.
