Geely Auto's new brand readying its first production vehicle.
Geely Auto's new brand Lynk & Co is developing a compact SUV codenamed 'Lynk & Co CX11' as its first production model. In the latest, the CX11's interior has been spied undisguised in China.
The CX11 was previewed last week by the Lynk & Co 01 concept in Sweden and looks largely unchanged to that in layout. Save for the colours, the interior appears to be completely identical to that of the concept. The dashboard, instrument panel, centre console and door panels aren't revealed completely, but there's only little left to the imagination.
The Lynk & Co CX11 will be underpinned by the CMA platform that will be utilised for the 40 and 60 series Volvo models as well. The Chinese report says that the CX11 will be powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine developed by Volvo, which will be paired to an automatic transmission.
The Lynk & Co is Geely Auto's mainstream brand and will compete with the likes of Ford, Toyota, Volkswagen and Nissan. The CX11 will go on sale in China in Q4 2017, with future plans to take it to Europe and USA.
