Confirmed to hit key markets in the summer of 2017.
Suzuki Motorcycles has unveiled the lightest and most affordable offering in the GSX-R portfolio - the 2017 Suzuki GSX R-125 - at the 2016 INTERMOT in Cologne, Germany, yesterday. It is confirmed to hit key markets in the summer of 2017, although its entry to India is unlikely.
The new GSX R-125's styling is influenced by the aggressive and sharp design of more powerful bikes in the GSX-R portfolio. It features a single LED headlight, full LCD instrument display and keyless ignition with the Suzuki Easy-start system sourced from the new GSX-R1000. The exterior can be painted in one of three colors: white, black and Suzuki Racing blue similar to the Gixxer SF.

Suzuki is yet to release tech specs of the GSX-R 125. It is claimed to offer the best power-to-weight ratio, torque-to-weight ratio, acceleration, handling and fuel economy in the 125 cc class. The all new water-cooled four-valve single-cylinder DOHC 125 cc engine is the smallest unit to be introduced in the GSX-R series. It has petal brake discs on both wheels supplemented by ABS as standard.
