One of the members of TAI has spotted the 2017 Nissan GT-R with pre-delivery wrap and covers at an Indian dealership. Orders for the new GT-R are being currently accepted ahead of its market launch in November.
The GT-R underwent a major facelift this year, which was first showcased at the 2016 New York Motor Show in March. The facelift integrates Nissan’s signature V-motion grille, updated mesh pattern, redesigned engine hood, new front lip spoiler and restyled bumpers. The side sills have been pushed out to direct air flow around the vehicle, while the rear end has been slightly restyled..
The interior has received a major overhaul. It looks cleaner and more upmarket, featuring a redesigned centre console with fewer buttons, new 8-inch touchscreen display, new multifunction steering wheel design with gearshift paddles integrated into the steering spokes, and new interior trim and leather upholstery options.
The power output from the VR38DETT 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 engine has also been raised as well. It now produces 565 hp and 467 lb.-ft (633 Nm) of torque, which is sent to all four wheels via a 6-speed DCT and an AWD system.
