The UK-spec 2017 BMW 5 Series's pricing and specifications have been revealed in the car's ordering guide that has surfaced online. The fifth-gen 5er will start at £36,025 (INR 29,29,696.75) when it goes on sale in February 2017 in the UK.
The 2017 BMW 5 Series will be available in twelve configurations at launch, with the range consisting of four petrol models: 530i SE, 530i M Sport, 540i xDrive SE and 540i xDrive M Sport, and eight diesel models: 520d SE, 520d M Sport, 520d xDrive SE, 520d xDrive M Sport, 530d SE, 530d M Sport, 530d xDrive SE and 530d xDrive M Sport.
The SE trim level features LED headlights, 17-inch light alloy V-spoke style 618 wheels/18-inch light alloy multi-spoke style 619 wheels and 10.25-inch touchscreen BMW Professional Multimedia navigation system with 20GB HDD memory, three-spoke sport leather steering wheel and ambient lighting.
The M Sport trim's highlights include LED fog lights, 18-inch light alloy M double-spoke style 662 M wheels/19-inch M light alloy M double-spoke style 664 M wheels, M bodystyling, M designation on the exterior, M specific pedals, dual quadrilateral exhaust tailpipes, High-gloss Shadowline exterior trim and M Sport braking system (530i/540i xDrive/530d/530d xDrive only).

Engine options include a 2.0-litre diesel engine that makes 190 hp and 400 Nm of torque, a 3.0-litre diesel engine that delivers 265 hp and 620 Nm of torque, a 2.0-litre petrol engine that produces 252 hp and 350 Nm of torque and a 3.0-litre petrol engine good for 340 hp and 450 Nm of torque. All engines are paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission, and it is for the first time that the xDrive all-wheel drive system is available in the 5 Series in the UK.
In March, the range will be extended with the 530e iPerformance plug-in hybrid and the 520d SE EfficientDynamics diesel.
