As mentioned earlier, the 2016 Honda Brio gets an updated front fascia with a high-gloss black and chrome finish grille and a redesigned front bumper. At the rear, the hatchback is given mildly updated taillights and a spoiler.
Inside, the Brio facelift now sports the dashboard layout from the Honda Amaze facelift and Honda BR-V. This includes a new instrument panel with rectangular AC vents, silver accents, a new instrument cluster with three clusters and white illumination, a new 2-DIN audio system with USB, Aux-in and Bluetooth connectivity. Further, the Brio facelift also gets digital AC controls with a max-cool feature.
Like the outgoing model, Honda will offer the Brio facelift with beige interiors and all-black interior (exclusively on the top-end variant). The seat fabric on all variants has been ‘enriched’ claims the manufacturer.
There are no changes to the powertrain. The Honda Brio facelift continues with the 1.2-liter four-cylinder i-VTEC engine capable of 88 PS and 109 Nm of torque, and is paired to 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission. The former is capable of 18.5 km/l while the latter achieves 16.5 km/l.
