Could be launched in the coming weeks.
An uncamouflaged Tata Hexa has been photographed on the Manali-Leh highway during an ad-shoot. It's expected to launch in India in the coming weeks.
Unveiled in production-spec at the Auto Expo 2016, the Tata Hexa is the long time replacement to the Aria crossover. The exterior features black plastic cladding and side sills, projector headlamps with LED DRLs, roof rails, chrome embellishments and dual exhaust tailpipes. It measures 4,764 mm in length, 1,895 mm in width and 1,780 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,850 mm.
The Hexa comes equipped with features like an ESP (electronic stability program), diamond-cut alloy wheels, optional 6-seat configuration with captain seats, Harman touchscreen infotainment system, leather upholstery with twin-needle stitching, mood lighting and 6 airbags.

Under the hood, the Hexa will pack Tata's 2.2L VARICOR turbodiesel engine capable of producing 156.2 hp and 400 Nm of torque. A 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox will be offered as transmission options, and an AWD system is optional in the top-end grade. The model spotted is of the mid-spec 'XMA' grade, suggesting that an automatic option will be available in lower grades as well.
