Expected in India next year.
Seen here are images of the 2017 (Maruti) Suzuki S-Cross facelift, which will go on sale in European markets from September 30, 2016. It is between EUR 18,990 to 28,090 (INR 14.05 lakhs to 20.78 lakhs).
On the cosmetic front, the 2017 (Maruti) Suzuki S-Cross facelift gets an updated front fascia with a chrome grille with vertical slats, redesigned headlight clusters, new bumpers, new alloy wheel pattern and updated taillights with LED lighting.
On the inside, the S-Cross facelift gets softer materials, along with a piano black trim around the touchscreen display and chrome accentuated HVAC vents. The touchscreen SmartPlay system now gets Mirrorlink connectivity too apart from Apple CarPlay.
However, the main change is the inclusion of the Boosterjet (turbocharged) petrol engines: the 1.0-liter three-cylinder and the 1.4-liter four-cylinder units. The former outputs 112 hp and 170 Nm, while the latter produces 140 hp and 220 Nm. Both engines are offered with a choice between a 6-speed manual or automatic, while the ALLGRIP AWD is exclusive to the 1.4L Boosterjet variant.
The diesel variant continues to use the 1.6L DDiS turbodiesel with 120 hp and 320 Nm paired to a 6-speed manual or 6-speed AMT with dual-clutch technology. The S-Cross facelift is expected to launch in India next year.
