Launch expected this festive season.
A Motorbeam reader has photographed the rear-end of a Hyundai Grand i10 facelift test mule, although it is covered up to hide any design changes. It's expected to launch this festive season.
An idea of the changes up front was presented by the Euro-spec 2017 Hyundai i10 (facelift), which featured a redesigned grille with a new mesh pattern in one portion, LED DRLs, and boomerang-shaped foglamp enclosures inspired by the 2016 Hyundai Elantra. The black plastic side cladding has been slightly redesigned, while top-end models get new 14-inch alloy rims with a diamond-cut finish.
Changes inside, however, are expected to be minimal. As car buyers prefer good tech in a budget-friendly car, the Grand i10 could be offered with a touchscreen display as well as Apple Carplay and Android Auto support. Hyundai became the first non-luxury car maker to introduce both smartphone connectivity options in India in a single product with the launch of the 2016 Elantra last month.

Its engine lineup will retain the 1.2L four-cylinder petrol and 1.1L three-cylinder diesel engines. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual for both variants, while a 4-speed automatic is exclusive to the 1.2 petrol.
