Second generation Toyota Sienta enters Malaysian market.
The 2016 Toyota Sienta mini-MPV was listed in Malaysia in June and has now gone on sale in the Southeast Asian country. The second generation Toyota Sienta is available in two grades: G and V, priced at RM 92,900 (INR 15,53,195.92) and RM 99,900 (INR 16,70,228.98) respectively.
The 2016 Toyota Sienta G features automatic projector headlamps, power-adjustable & retractable door mirrors, left-side power sliding door, 15-inch alloy wheels, LED taillamps, 6-speaker 2-DIN audio system with Bluetooth connectivity, ABS with EBD and BA, VSC, TRC, HAC and three airbags (driver, front passenger and driver knee).
The 2016 Toyota Sienta V features Bi-LED projector headlamps with auto on/off and auto leveling, LED daytime running lights, position lights with LED light guide, taillamps with LED light guide, keyless entry, push-button start, colour TFT MID, leather-wrapped steering wheel, 6-speaker 2-DIN DVD player with a 6.8-inch touchscreen display and left and right power sliding doors.

The Malaysian-spec 2016 Toyota Sienta measures 4,235 mm in length, 1,695 mm in width and 1,695 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,750 mm. It's powered by the 2NR-FE 1.5-litre Dual VVT-i naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 79 kW (107 PS/105.90 hp) at 6,000 rpm and 140 Nm of torque at 4,200 rpm. Power is sent to the front wheels via a 7-stepped continuously variable transmission. Unlike in Indonesia, a 6-speed manual transmission isn't available. Needless to say, the JDM-spec model's hybrid powertrain and four-wheel drive system are out of question for the Malaysian market.
