Kia Soul facelift vs pre-facelift model – Old vs. New
Sagar Parikh, I'm the international news editor at IndianAutosBlog.com. I love everything that has a steering wheel!
Kia has introduced the facelifted Kia Soul in South Korea, and here’s a pictorial comparison of it with the pre-facelifted Kia Soul to show the changes.
On the outside, the facelifted Kia Soul features tweaked headlamps, radiator grille, bumpers and taillights. The Soul hasn’t remarkably changed on the outside with the facelift.
Save for new colour option(s), there are no changes to the interior of the crossover.
The new Kia Soul (facelift) measures 4,140 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width and 1,600 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,570 mm. It’s available with two engines: 1.6 GDI and 1.6 VGT. The Gamma 1.6-litre GDI engine delivers 132 PS (130.14 hp) at 6,300 rpm and 16.4 kg.m (160.83 Nm) at 4,850 rpm, and is paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The U2 1.6-litre VGT engine produces 136 PS (134.09 hp) at 4,000 rpm and 30.6 kg.m (300.08 Nm) of torque at 1,750-2,500 rpm, and sends power to the wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
