Expected to cost under INR 1.8 Lakhs.
The Bajaj Pulsar VS 400 has been spied undisguised in Ladakh ahead of its impending market launch. It appears that the bike was photographed during a shoot of its first TVC.
The range-topping variant of the Pulsar will be powered by a 373.27 cc single cylinder engine sourced from the KTM Duke 390. It produces 34.51 hp at 8,000 rpm, and will channel its power via a 6-speed gearbox with revised gear ratios.
The Bajaj VS 400 features LED headlamps, telescopic forks, mono-shock rear suspension, single front and rear disc brakes, LED taillights, a primary digital instrument cluster with, tachometer and speedometer and a secondary, tank-mounted cluster. A single-channel ABS could be standard, while a dual-channel system could be made optional.
The Bajaj Pulsar VS 400 was previewed by the Bajaj Cruiser Sport concept at the Auto Expo 2014. Compared to the concept, there are very little styling changes. The only significant change is that the concept’s front suspension was an inverted fork, while the production-spec model features a conventional telescopic fork.
