Paultan has acquired brochure scans of the 2016 Renault Koleos, ahead of its launch in Malaysia this September. Bookings are expected to open towards the end of this month.

Although Renault haven’t specified the displacement, power figures are similar to the 2.5L engine from the Nissan X-Trail.

For Malaysia, the Renault Koleos will pack a a four-cylinder petrol engine that provides 170 PS at 6,000 rpm and 226 Nm at 4,400 rpm. Although they haven’t specified the engine displacement, power figures are similar to the 2.5L unit from the Nissan X-Trail. The Koleos comes equipped with an X-Tronic CVT, and is capable of sprinting from 0-100 km/h in 9.5 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 200 km/h.

The all new Renault Koleos measures 4,672 mm in length, 1,843 mm in width and 1,678 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,705 mm. It is 150 mm longer, 12 mm narrower and 29 mm shorter and has a 15 mm longer wheelbase than the outgoing model.

Inside, it features power-operated driver’s seat with lumbar adjustment, one-touch easy-folding rear seats, ambient lighting, a 7-inch TFT instrument display, 8.7 inch R-Link 2 central touchscreen infotainment system, six airbags and a blind spot warning system.

The all-new Renault Koleos is expected to launch in India by the end of 2017.
