Astra Honda Motor, the Indonesian subsidiary of Honda Motorcycles, introduced the Honda CBR250RR in Indonesia earlier this week. This 360-degree view of the Honda Light Weight Super Sports Concept's production version gives an all-around look at the KTM Duke 250-rival.
The Honda CBR250RR measures 2,060 mm in length, 724 mm in width and 1,098 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 1,389 mm.
Key aspects of the Honda CBR250RR are a newly designed steel pipe truss frame, 310 mm (front) and 240 mm (rear) disc brakes with optional ABS (both front and rear), dual-LED headlights, Throttle-by-Wire (TBW) system and selectable 3-way engine mode settings.
The Honda CBR250RR sports a newly developed 249.7 cc PGM-FI liquid-cooled straight-twin engine, in pair with a 6-speed manual transmission. Performance figures are yet to be released, but Honda assures potential buyers that the motorcycle will have class-leading acceleration and output.
The Honda CBR250RR will be manufactured in Indonesia, and go on sale there by the end of 2016. The CBR250RR has been confirmed to launch in Japan also, but the timeline hasn't been revealed. In Indonesia, the Honda CBR250RR will be available in Honda Racing Red, Anchor Graymetallic and Mat Gunpower Black Metallic colour schemes.
