Ford India today announced prices for its flagship, and what is now the halo product - Ford Mustang. For the Indian market, Ford India will begin accepting orders for the Mustang in Delhi and Mumbai initially. The Mustang is priced at INR 65 lakhs, ex-Showroom, New Delhi. In Mumbai, the Mustang costs INR 66.5 lakhs and in Navi Mumbai the muscle car is priced at INR 68.14 lakhs, ex-Showroom.
Ford India has launched only the GT fastback 5.0-liter V8 coupe. Power comes from the 4,951 cc V8 engine that develops 401 PS and 515 Nm of torque, channeled through the rear wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission and paddle-shifters.
Standard features on the India-spec Mustang include automatic HID headlamps, ‘Pony’ Projection Puddle Lamps, heated and power folding wing mirrors, automatic wipers, rear diffuser, a limited slip differential, tyre pressure monitoring system, ambient lighting, reverse camera, dual-zone climate control, a SYNC2 8-inch touchscreen voice-controlled infotainment system, 9-speaker and amplifier sound system and 6-Way power-adjustable driver and passenger seats.

As standard, the Mustang is equipped with all electronic safety aids, dual front airbags, side airbags, curtain airbags and knee airbags for the driver and passenger. The muscle car has four driving modes - Normal, Sport+, Track and Snow/Wet.
