Launch expected to take place in July.
A trio of Tata Hexa prototypes were spotted testing in Pune ahead of its launch that is reported to take place in July 2016.
The Hexa is the long-time replacement of the Tata Aria, which was unveiled in production form at the Auto Expo 2016 in February. It will serve as Tata Motors' flagship product when launched next month, as well as one of the most feature-packed Tatas.
It will be equipped with ESP (electronic stability program), diamond-cut alloy wheels, 6-seat configuration with captain seats, Harman infotainment system, leather upholstery with twin-needle stitching, mood lighting and 6 airbags, making it the most feature packed product in their lineup.

While it was certain that the Hexa will pack the 2.2-litre VARICOR diesel engine with a 6-speed manual, the ban on diesel-powered vehicles (displacing over 2000 cc) in Delhi NCR as well as other cities in the future could force Tata to introduce a sub-2.0L diesel engine based on the VARICOR unit.
