To debut in the coming days.
The image below shows the (Maruti) Suzuki S-Cross facelift at the production plant, though it cannot be ascertained that the plant in question is Maruti-Suzuki's Indian unit. It should be noted that the S-Cross is also produced at Suzuki's plant in Hungary, and that a debut for the European market will occur prior to its Indian launch.
As seen in a previous leaked image, the production S-Cross facelift confirms the presence of redesigned headlights, a new vertical-slat chrome grille, an all-new front bumper and new alloy wheels. The side profile and the design of the doors and windows are unchanged though.
A leaked image has shown that the interior of the S-Cross facelift will carry minor changes to the trim and materials used, but the overall layout will remain the same as the current model.
Under the hood, the S-Cross facelift will continue with the 1.6-liter diesel engine for the European market. However, the 1.6-liter petrol could be replaced or joined by the 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbocharged Boosterjet engine.

An Indian market launch of the S-Cross facelift is expected to take place in 2017. While Maruti sells the S-Cross with 1.3- and 1.6-liter diesel engines in the country, a petrol engine option could also be introduced to appeal to buyers with low-usage characteristics.
