Along with the debut model Porsche 718 Cayman, Porsche displayed the 2016 Porsche 911 Targa 4 and 2016 Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet at Auto China 2016 (2016 Beijing Motor Show).
Porsche 911 Targa 4
The Porsche 911 Targa 4 received its mid-cycle update just late last year. The 2016 Porsche 911 Targa 4, with the refreshed styling and updated equipment, features a new 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged flat-six engine that produces 272 kW (370 hp) and 450 Nm of torque, and an enhanced all-wheel drive system.
The 0-100 km/h acceleration takes 4.7 seconds with the 7-speed manual transmission or 4.5 seconds with the 7-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission. The manual variant can hit a top speed of 289 km/h, while the PDK model maxes out at 287 km/h.
Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet
The 2016 Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet (facelift), introduced soon after the 2016 Porsche 911 Targa 4 (facelift), features a mildly updated styling, new wheel design, new steering wheel with design adopted from the Porsche 918 Spyder, updated PCM infotainment system and such other familiar upgrades Porsche has been introducing on its recently facelifted 911 series models.
The 3.8-litre twin-turbo flat-six engine, thanks to modified intake ports in the cylinder heads, new fuel injectors, and higher fuel pressure, now produces 580 hp (+20 hp). There's 750 Nm (with Overboost) of torque available, 40 Nm more than in the 911 Turbo Cabriolet. The 7-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission's gear change mappings have been revised. The new 911 Turbo S Cabriolet can reach from 0-100 km/h in 3.0 seconds and go further up to a maximum speed of 330 km/h.
