Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL) has launched the Hyundai Xcent 20th anniversary special edition in petrol and diesel trims. The Xcent special edition in petrol costs INR 6.22 lakhs, while the diesel variant is priced at INR 7.15 lakhs, ex-Showroom, New Delhi.
The Xcent special edition is based on the 'S' trim level. It costs INR 16,999 more than the standard 'S' level but gets some additional features to justify this cost. On the outside, the Xcent special edition comes with a chrome radiator grille, side body graphics, a bootlid spoiler with a reflector, a chrome garnish for the registration plate enclosure, and a 20th anniversary logo on the bootlid.
Inside, the Xcent special edition provides a 6.2-inch touchscreen audio-visual system, and a red-and-black upholstery for the seats. There are no other changes cosmetically, or mechanically. The petrol Xcent is powered by a 1.2-liter four-cylinder Kappa Dual VTVT petrol engine which develops 83 PS and 113.7 Nm of torque.

The diesel variant is powered by a 1.1-liter three-cylinder U2 CRDi engine good for 72 PS and 180.4 Nm of torque. Where the petrol claims 19.1 km/l, the diesel variant is good for 24.4 km/l.
