Proton has teased the headlight and taillight clusters of the 2016 Proton Perdana yet again, ahead of its launch which is expected to take place anytime now. Bookings are ongoing for the previous generation Honda Accord-based sedan.

2016 Proton Perdana front teased
The 2.0- and 2.4-liter i-VTEC engines will be paired to a 5-speed AT with paddle shifters.

Though the Perdana is based on the Accord, designers have given the sedan comprehensive changes to make it look distinct rather than a badge-engineered product. The front fascia of this 2.4-liter variant gets xenon headlights with integrated light guides, a chrome-finished grille and a front splitter.

The rear houses a split-taillight layout and a diffuser element with integrated exhaust tips in body color. At the tape, the Proton Perdana measures 5,020 mm in length, 1,845 mm in width, 1,475 mm in height, and 2,800 mm in wheelbase, making the 2016 Perdana a lot longer that the 4,849 mm Accord.

Both these engines will be paired to a 5-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.
