New spyshots from Car and Bike reveal the 2016 Audi A4 testing in Mumbai sans camouflage. It's expected to go on sale later this year, and will be locally assembled at Audi's facility in Aurangabad.
Compared to the outgoing model, the new A4 is 25 mm longer, 16 mm wider and 12 mm higher. It measures 4,726 mm tall, 1,842 mm wide and 1,427 mm tall, and has a 2,820 mm long wheelbase. Thanks to the MLB Evo platform, the new Audi A4 is also 120 kg lighter, and the body has a class-leading drag coefficient of 0.23 cd.
The India-spec Audi A4 is expected to offer optional Matrix LED headlights and dynamic turn signals, Audi virtual cockpit with 12.3-inch LCD screen, head-up display, Bang & Olufsen 3D Sound System with 19 speakers, MMI Navigation plus infotainment with a freestanding 8.3-inch screen, MMI touch, and Audi smartphone interface with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration.

Engine lineup could include the 1.8-litre TFSI engine producing 168 hp and 320 Nm of torque and the 2.0-litre TDI diesel unit with 190 hp and 400 Nm of torque. Both engines are, reportedly, paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission as standard, while a quattro AWD system may not be offered.
