Confirmed to launch in India as well.
At the Tesla Model 3 unveiling event, Tesla demonstrated the car to journalists with a short ride in the car. Here's a video from SlashGear of the Tesla Model 3 first ride. There's a special thing about the Model 3 seen in the video, but more about that following the video embedded below.

The Tesla Model 3 seen in the video has a dual-motor, all-wheel drive setup like in the Tesla Model S. Single-motor, rear-wheel drive configuration will be standard, but dual-motor setup, all-wheel drive configuration will be available optionally. With the single-motor, rear-wheel drive configuration, the Tesla Model 3 does 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) in under six seconds and be driven up to 215 miles (346 km) on full charge. The dual-motor model will likely offer more driving range also with better performance.
