Will enter production in Fremont, California next year.
In its 'The week that electric vehicles went mainstream' blog, Tesla Motors proudly says it has received more than 325,000 pre-orders for the Tesla Model 3 without advertising it, but the company is indeed working on a commercial. A silver-coloured Tesla Model 3 was spotted recently on public roads during a commercial shoot in which the chase car filming the commercial was a Tesla Model S.
The Tesla Model 3 is now available to pre-order for a (reserving) price of US$1,000. The youngest Tesla will be available in both single-motor RWD and dual-motor AWD models, with prices starting at just US$35,000 before federal and state incentives in the U.S. market. The base model will have a driving range of 215 miles (346 km). The Model 3 officially unveiled to the public was a prototype and the company is working on some exterior and interior changes to make the design look even better and improve the practicality.
