Will go on sale in Russia in mid-2016.

The Renault Kaptur that debuted last month in Russia has been spotted somewhere in Russia, in an array of colors. The picture, reportedly shared by a dealership probably shows the first display units headed to the showroom. As shown in a comparo earlier this month, the Renault Kaptur doesn't differ too much design-wise from the Renault Captur, save for little styling tweaks and the changes needed to extend the rear-end.

The Renault Kaptur will be launched in Brazil in H1 2017, with 1.6- and 2.0-litre flex-fuel engine options

The Renault Kaptur measures 4,333 mm in length, 1,813 mm (excluding door mirrors) in width and 1,613 in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,674 mm. It has a ground clearance of 204 mm. The boot volume is 387 litres and can be increased to 1,200 litres by folding the rear seats. There's no word on the engine and transmission options yet.

In Brazil though, where the Kaptur will be reportedly launched in H1 2017, Renault will offer 1.6- and 2.0-litre flex-fuel engines. The new small crossover will be available in both 2WD and 4WD drivetrain configurations.

The Renault Kaptur will go on sale in Russia in Summer 2016 (June-August 2016). It will be locally built at the company's Moscow plant, from where, Russian reports suggest, exports will likely be made to other nations of the Eurasian Economic Union: Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. In India, the Kaptur will reportedly be launched in October 2017. The Indian version should be built at the Renault-Nissan's Alliance plant in Oragadam near Chennai.
