Mazda CX-4 spied without camouflage

Courtesy of Auto163, new spyshots reveal the Mazda CX-4 without any camouflage, flaunting its coupe-esque styling and dynamic stance. The Mazda CX-4 will make its world premiere on April 25 at the 2016 Beijing Motor Show.

Previewed by the Mazda Koeru concept, the Mazda CX-4's exterior styling is based on the ‘KODO-Soul of Motion’ design philosophy. Top-end grades will come equipped with features like LED headlamps, roof rails, 19-inch alloy wheels, LED taillamps, roof spoiler, shark fin antenna and dual exhaust pipes.

Inside, the design combines elements from all Mazdas, particularly the Mazda 3. Familiar items here include the dual screen instrument cluster, steering wheel, HVAC vents, gear selector, dual-zone air-con controls and the MZD free-standing infotainment system with a dial on the floor console for navigation.

The engine lineup is likely to include 2.0-liter and 2.5-liter SKYACTIV-G petrol engines and a 1.5-litre SKYACTIV-D diesel engines (not for China), while a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic will serve as its transmission choices.
