Maruti has received over 40,000 pre-orders for the Maruti Vitara Brezza, since bookings were open a month ago. It is currently on sale at prices starting from INR 6.99 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
Older reports stated that new customers looking to order one of the LDi, LDi (O), ZDi and ZDi+ (not dual tone) variants will have to wait for four months, while those opting for the VDi or VDi (O) grades will require 3 months of waiting. The range-topping ZDi+ with the dual tone colour option has a waiting period of five months.
The Vitara Brezza packs a 1.3-liter DDiS four-cylinder diesel engine capable of 90 PS and 200 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission which sends power to the front wheels. The Brezza is capable of a class-leading, ARAI-rated fuel efficiency of 24.3 km/l.

Noteworthy features include projector headlights with LED daytime running lights and automatic function, cruise control, SmartPlay infotainment system with satellite navigation and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration capability, reversing camera, dual airbags and ABS with EBD.
