Honda BR-V bookings open in India for INR 21,000

Pre-orders for the Honda BR-V are now open across all Honda dealers in India, and interested customers will have to deposit a minimum of INR 21,000. The BR-V will go on sale from May 5, 2016.

The BR-V measures 4,455 mm long, 1,735 mm wide, 1,650 mm high, has a wheelbase of 2,660 mm and a ground clearance of 201 mm. Top-end grades will get projector headlights with LED light guides, diamond-cut alloy wheels, roof rails, skid plates and a rear spoiler.

Inside, the dashboard of the Honda BR-V is identical to the one in the recently-launched Honda Amaze facelift. Some of the features in the BR-V include ABS, EBD, dual front airbags, steering-mounted controls, automatic climate control, integrated Bluetooth-enabled music system and a third row seating option, which is not offered by rivals in the market.

The 7-seat crossover will offer the Honda City-sourced 1.5-liter petrol and 1.5-liter diesel engines, and both engines will get a six-speed manual transmission.
