The hotter Audi TT-RS has made its world debut at the Auto China 2016 in Beijing today. It will go on sale in European markets from fall 2016. There are two bodystyles available: Coupé and Roadster, and prices start at 66,400 euros and 69,200 euros, respectively.
The Audi TT-RS packs a 2.5L five cylinder TFSI that produces 400 hp and 480 Nm of torque available between 1,700 and 5,850 rpm. Paired to a 7-speed S-Tronic and Quattro AWD system, the Audi TT-RS sprints from 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds (3.9 for Roadster), before hitting a limited top speed of 250 km/h.
The exterior is fitted with a sportier body kit, featuring large vents, hexagonal mesh grille, 20 inch forged rims, rear wing, and chrome plated wing mirror caps. The Audi TT-RS is also the first product in the Audi product range to get OLED taillamps.
Inside, it is equipped with a performance themed Audi Virtual Cockpit display, new flat-bottomed steering wheel with Start/Stop button, Audi drive select and gear paddles. Entertainment features include MMI navigation plus with MMI touch and a Bang & Olufsen sound system.
