Update - The exterior of the 2016 Proton Perdana is seen in new revealing spyshots.
Will be sold to general public also.
The exterior of the third generation Proton Perdana has been fully revealed in a leaked image, courtesy funtasticko.net. The all-new Perdana will be launched later this month. As seen in the leaked image, the exterior has been completely redone for the third generation, and looks original unlike the currently sold model which is simply a rebadged eighth generation Honda Accord.
The Proton Perdana continues it's association with the previous generation Honda Accord though, as the third generation model is just a redesign and still based on the same car.
The 2016 Proton Perdana's features include cruise control, infotainment system with satellite navigation and reversing camera, dual-zone automatic climate control, anti-trap front power windows, airbags, ABS with EBD and ESC.
Powering the 2016 Proton Perdanam, will be a Honda-sourced 2.4-litre petrol engine that produces 135 kW (181 hp) and 222 Nm of torque. Channeling power to the wheels, will be a continuously variable transmission. A new 2.0-litre NE01 engine will reportedly be introduced by the end of 2017.
