New range topping grade of the XC90.
The Volvo XC90 Excellence has made its European debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show today, which will serve as the new range-topping grade of the XC90. It made its world debut at the Auto Shanghai 2015 in April 2015
The XC90 Excellence scraps the rear bench seat and third row to leave plenty of space for two power-controlled rear seats with a flowing console between them. The individual reclining seats come with massage, ventilation and increased legroom that offer the best possible comfort in the current XC90 range.
Other interior features include a retractable tablet, folding tables and a refrigerator with bottle, glass holders, heating/cooling cup holder and handmade crystal glasses sourced from Orrefors, passenger footrests, ambient lighting, illuminated storage and distinctive leather trim in blond or charcoal, 19-speaker Bowers and Wilkins audio system with an additional speaker between the rear seats, additional sound insulation and Pirelli Noise Cancelling System (PNCS) tires.
On the outside the Excellence grade distinguishes itself from the rest of the variants with chrome B- and C-pillar capping, lower door mouldings and an “Excellence rank mark”. It is only available with a T8 Twin Engine hybrid option, which outputs 400 hp and 640 Nm of torque.
