Likely to be a one-off concept.
Tata Motors is showcasing the Tata Xenon 150 N-Xplore with a full-fledged off road body kit that is likely to be a one-off build for the 2016 Bangkok International Motor Show.
It features an automated winch housed in a thick bull bar, angled metal skid plate, foglamps, a snorkel that appears to be constructed from carbon fiber, off road tires with mud flaps, LED bars mounted on the luggage rack and a tall flag staff on the bull bar. The flat bed is equipped with a heavy duty metal container for tools and other items.
Other than that, the rear gets a new bumper with a black foot board. The interior features a multimedia infotainment system and silver accents on the dashboard and steering wheel. The double cab pickup comes with ABS and dual airbags as standard.
Mechanically, the special edition pickup truck employs the 2.2-litre four-cylinder turbo diesel engine which is mated to a new G-76 Mark II 5-speed manual transmission employing a newly designed clutch, and drives all four wheels. The power and torque figures stand at 150 PS (147.8 bhp) at 4,000 rpm and 320 Nm of torque at 1,500-3,000 rpm.
