Tata Motors is displaying the Tata Hexa Tuff at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. Designed for "active lifestyle seekers," the model was unveiled at the Auto Expo 2016 in India last month alongside the production version of the Tata Hexa.
The Hexa Tuff is a personalised version of the production Hexa. It features a muscular body kit, a bicycle carrier that can carry three cycles, an intelligent Head-Up Display, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, navigation system and 3D mats. The SUV measures 4,764 mm in length, 1,895 mm in width, and 1,780 mm in height, and it is shod with 19-inch tyres as standard.
Powering the Tata Hexa Tuff is the same 2.2-litre four-cylinder VariCOR 400 diesel engine that is used on the production version. The output is 156 PS at 4,000 rpm and 400 Nm of torque between 1,700 to 2,700 rpm. The transmission options include a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic unit.
The regular version of the Tata Hexa features four driving modes but the same cannot be seen on the display car.
