Finished in design polar silver magno exterior colour.
At the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, Mercedes-Benz didn't present the facelifted Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake, but did show an accessorized version of the current Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake featuring the design polar silver magno exterior colour.
Up front, the Mercedes star is an illuminated one. When the car is locked and unlocked by remote control and when the doors or boot are opened, fibre-optic cables and LED lights illuminate the star on the radiator grille. The sides are distinguished by two-piece black door mirror cases, 18-inch 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels with red trim and black hub caps featuring embossed Mercedes-Benz star.
Black trim caps with an embossed star logo beneath transparent plastic are screwed onto the tyre valves, showing the accessories division's attention to detail when it comes to theming the exterior.
On top there are New Alustyle basic carrier bars which have New Alustyle Comfort ski and snowboard rack attached to them. Up to six pairs of skis (without sticks) or four snowboards can be stowed on the rack. Pull-out function allows for easy loading and unloading of the sporting equipment.
Stepping inside, Mercedes-Benz Accessories has equipped the CLA Shooting Brake with new KIDFIX XP child seat that was introduced in May 2016. It has been developed in cooperation with renowned child seat manufacturer BRITAX ROMER and is suitable for children aged between four and twelve in the weight range from 15 to 36 kg.
There's also a universal smartphone holder that enables mobile phones to be connected to the vehicle's exterior antenna, fitted to the installation in the centre console. The holder's cradle size can be adjusted as required by the particular smartphone's shape. Lastly, the shallow boot tub in the luggage compartment has a slightly raised edge and perfectly fits the load area.
