Deliveries to start this month.
Shifting Gears reports that the Bajaj V has received over 3,000 bookings across the country. Deliveries of the model are expected to be commence in the coming weeks.
The Bajaj V is the company's fourth product in the 150 cc segment, after the Bajaj Pulsar 150, Bajaj Discover 150 and the Bajaj Avenger 150 Street. It is reported to be priced at INR 61,999 (ex-showroom, Delhi), which would position the product between the Discover 150 which is priced from INR 54,521, and the Pulsar 150 that is priced at INR 71,585.
The Bajaj V is marketed as a premium commuter, while the Discover 150 plays the role of a budget commuter, the Pulsar 150 continues to be a performance commuter, and the Avenger 150 is a comfort commuter.

The Bajaj V is powered by the existing 149.5 cc air-cooled single-cylinder DTS-i engine, but is tuned to develop 11.8 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 13 Nm at 5,500 rpm, and is connected to a five-speed gearbox.
