The 2016 Nissan Micra for Europe will be produced at the Renault’s Flins plant in Paris.

The design of the new Micra, evident despite the camouflage, is inspired by the Nissan Sway concept that was unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The test mule is characterised by a narrow snout, sharp creases along the side panels, a sloping roofline, a rear spoiler, rear door handles integrated into the C-pillars.

The 2016 Nissan Micra will be underpinned by the Renault-Nissan Alliance’s CMF platform. For European markets the new Micra will be produced at Renault’s Flins near Paris and the Indian version will be manufactured at RNA's Chennai plant, with exports to neighbouring markets. The Flins plant currently produces the Clio and Zoe.

We will make sure we are competitive where we want to compete.”
