Sales target is 7,000 units in the first year.
The Himalayan Times reports that Jagdamba Motors, the authorized distributor of TVS two wheelers in Nepal, will launch the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V in Nepal towards the end of April 2016. The publication has also mentioned that a total of 7,000 units of the motorcycle is aimed to be sold in the country in the first year of launch.
The TVS Apache 200 was unveiled last month in Chennai alongside the new TVS Victor, and was subsequently showcased at the Auto Expo 2016 in Greater Noida earlier this month. It is powered by a single-cylinder 197.75 cc air-cooled engine with SOHC, four-valves and an oil-cooler, that produces 20.5 PS at 8,500 rpm if it is the carbureted version and 21 PS at 8,500 rpm in case of the fuel-injected variant. The peak torque generated is 18.1 Nm at 7,000 rpm in both variants.

The report indicates that only the FI version of the Apache 200 will be sold in Nepal. It also suggests that ABS with RLP (Rear wheel Lift-off Protection) will be offered; it is unclear if it will be a standard feature. The option of TVS Remora and Pirelli tyres will be provided in Nepal.
