TRD bodykit adds a sporty look to the Fortuner.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor showcased the current India-spec Toyota Fortuner at the Auto Expo 2016 today, which features a bodykit designed by Toyota Racing Development (TRD), and dubbed as the Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo Platinum.
The exterior of the limited edition model gets a TRD body kit which includes redesigned front bumper with faux intakes, bumper extensions, side sill extensions, front lip spoiler, rear diffuser and a roof spoiler.
Inside, the TRD Sportivo Platinum comes with Dual tone black and red leather upholstery, red contrast stitching and floor carpets. The center console houses an AVN touchscreen display flanked by HVAC vents with dark wood trim.
The Fortuner featured here is powered by a 3.0-liter D-4D diesel engine that is capable of 169 bhp at 3600 rpm and 343 Nm between 1,400-3,200 rpm. It is paired to a 5-speed automatic gearbox and has a 4WD system with a high and low range settings.
