Peugeot Motorcycles showcased three scooters - the Peugeot Speedfight 4, Peugeot Django and the Peugeot Metropolis RS - at the Auto Expo 2016 in Greater Noida. The models are being studied for their business prospects in the Indian market.
Peugeot Speedfight 4
The fourth generation Peugeot Speedfight is powered by a 124.8 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine that produces 10 PS of peak power and returns 60 km/l mileage. Weighing 130 kg, the Speedfight is equipped with a fully digital instrument console, projector headlamps, telescopic fork, hydraulic double shock absorber at the rear, 226 mm and 210 mm disc brake at the front and rear respectively, Combined Braking System, 8-litre fuel tank, 130/60-13 front tyre and 140/60-13 rear tyre. The Speedfight 4 has 1,369 mm of wheelbase and 845 mm of seat height.
Peugeot Django
The Django is powered by a 124.6 cc single-cylinder air-cooled carbureted engine that produces 10.19 PS of maximum power. It features a 40 mm dia telescopic fork, single hydraulic shock absorber at the rear, 200 mm and 190 mm disc brake at the front and rear, Combined Braking System, 120/70-12 tyres, 8.2-litre fuel tank, 140 kg of kerb weight, 1,350 mm of wheelbase and 770 mm of saddle height.
Peugeot Metropolis RS
The Peugeot Metropolis RS is a three-wheeled scooter that is powered by a 399 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine that produces 37.25 PS of power. It has a DTW (Dual Tilting Wheels) concept front axle with tilt locking system and monoshock suspension, hydraulic double shock absorber at the rear, two 200 mm disc brakes upfront, a 240 mm disc brake at the rear, Combined Braking System and Sensotronic Brake Control (SBC), 13.5-litre fuel tank, 120/70-12 front tyres, 140/70-14 rear tyre, 256 kg of empty weight, 1,500 mm of wheelbase and 780 mm of seat height.
