Priced from INR 59,901 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India had displayed the Honda CB Shine SP at the Auto Expo 2016 in Greater Noida. It was launched in November last year in three variants - Standard (self-drum-alloy), Deluxe (self-disc-alloy) and CBS, priced at INR 59,901, INR 62,399 and INR 64,400 (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively.
The Shine SP uses the same engine as the regular Honda CB Shine, which is the 124.73 cc air-cooled single-cylinder carbureted engine that delivers 10.57 bhp of maximum power at 7,500 rpm and 10.30 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. While the CB Shine uses a four-speed gearbox, the CB Shine SP features a five-speed transmission.
Apart from the differences in styling and the gearbox, the Shine SP is similar in hardware aspects to the Shine. Both models feature a regular telescopic fork, twin-spring loaded hydraulic type shock absorbers as a part of the rear suspension, 130 mm drum or 240 mm disc brake upfront, 130 mm drum brake at the rear, and 80/100-18 tubeless tyres at the front and rear.
