Chevrolet has showcased the Chevrolet Cruze facelift at Auto Expo 2016, with a special LED headlamp. The sedan, which was launched last month, gets minor cosmetic updates.
The exterior revisions are minor and mostly centered at the anterior. The face gets a dual-port grille that is outlined in chrome while LED DRLs are available on the LT and LTZ trims. The lower portion has a new front bumper with air intakes embellished with chrome accents. Other changes that need be mentioned are a new alloy wheel design and a revised rear bumper.
The interior receives subtle changes to keep it appealing to customers. The cup holders, position of trunk release button and door lock switches have been changed along with the seat upholstery. The cabin gets features such as 7.0-inch MyLink infotainment system with support for GPS navigation, voice commands and Bluetooth as well as a reverse camera and a new steering wheel.
The engine powering the facelift will be the same 2.0-liter VCDi diesel unit found in the current version. This mill produces 166 PS of max power and 380 Nm of peak torque; transmission options will be 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearboxes. Fuel efficiency for the manual Cruze is 17.9 km/l, with the automatic giving 14.81 km/l.
