Four upcoming Benelli models showcased at IBW 2016 – IAB Report

DSK Benelli showcased four upcoming motorcycles in India this year at the India Bike Week 2016. They are the Benelli TNT Naked T-135, Benelli BX 250, Benelli Tornado 302 and the Benelli TRK 502, all of which were unveiled at the Auto Expo 2016.

To be launched in September, the TRK 502 runs on a new 500 cc liquid-cooled inline twin-cylinder engine that has an output of 48 PS at 8,500 rpm and 45 Nm at 4,500 rpm, and is equipped with a six-speed transmission.

Benelli Tornado 302

DSK Motowheels at IBW 2016

The Tornado 302 is the fully faired interpretation of the Benelli TNT 300, with the same engine in a different state of tune. The motor produces 35 hp at 12,000 rpm and 27 Nm at 9,000 rpm, and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The model would be launched in/around July 2016.

Benelli BX250

Benelli BX250 at Auto Expo 2016

The 2016 BX250 is driven by the 249.2 cc liquid-cooled engine with DOHC, that generates 25.15 PS at 9,000 rpm and 21.5 Nm at 7,500 rpm, and is offered with a six-speed gearbox. It will be launched in or around November.

Benelli TNT Naked T-135

Benelli Tornado Naked T-135 at Auto Expo 2016

The mini-bike is powered by a 124.8 cc air-cooled engine that develops 12.64 PS at 9,000 rpm and 10.8Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm, and is mated to a five-speed transmission. The motorcycle will be launched towards the end of this year.
