IBTimes reports that the Bajaj V is priced at INR 63,160 (ex-showroom, Pune), and that the booking amount is INR 500. The on-road Pune price is said to be INR 72,260. A recent report mentioned that the Bajaj V is priced at INR 72,000 (on-road, Mumbai).
The model is slated to be launched next month, and its delivery is set to commence by the end of the same month. The publication says that the bike will begin reaching customers on March 23. It is positioned between the Discover 150 and the Pulsar 150, making it the fourth product in the company's 150 cc portfolio and a niche one at that. Hence the Bajaj V has no direct competitors.

The Bajaj V measures 2,044 mm in length, 780 mm in width, 1,070 mm in height, 1,315 mm in wheelbase, 165 mm in ground clearance, and 135.5 kg in kerb weight. It is powered by the familiar 149.5 cc air-cooled single-cylinder DTS-i engine. The motor is tuned to produce 11.8 bhp of maximum power at 7,500 rpm and 13 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm, and is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
