Comes standard with 10 airbags and a rearview camera.
Chevrolet has unveiled the 2017 model year Trax with updated exterior and additional technology in the USA. The car will be showcased at the Chicago Motor Show later this week and will go on sale in fall in the USA (Sept-Dec 2016).
On the exterior, Chevrolet updated the CUV's front fascia with new headlamps and grille. The LS trim gets a standard halogen reflector while the higher trims such as LT or Premier benefit from a halogen projector with daytime running lights. Other changes include chrome bezel around the fog lamps, lightly modified rear bumper, new taillights and new 18-inch alloys.
On the inside Chevrolet has modified the dashboard that now houses a seven-inch MyLink touchscreen for the infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, 4G LTE, and Wi-Fi hotspot. The Premier trim gets a contrasting instrument panel matching the leatherette seating trim.
The Trax now comes standard with ten airbags and a rearview camera. Additional safety assistance systems include Side Blind Zone Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Forward Collision Alert, and Lane Departure Warning.
Doing its duty under the hood, the 1.4 liter turbocharged engine remains unaltered and produces 138 bhp of power and 200 Nm of torque, which is mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox.
