First country in ASEAN region to get the Honda Civic.
Honda Philippines has announced that the 2016 Honda Civic will soon go on sale in the country, and are now accepting pre-orders. They haven't mentioned the minimum deposit, however.
They have also confirmed the variants that customers can choose from: 1.8 E and RS Turbo. Unlike the U.S spec model, the base engine in the ASEAN-spec Honda Civic is a 1.8-liter N/A four cylinder engine, for which output figures haven't been disclosed.
The RS Turbo variant will pack a 1.5 turbo VTEC mill generating 174 hp at 5,500 rpm and 220 Nm of torque from 1,800 to 5,000 rpm. Transmission options would include a 6-speed manual and a CVT gearbox. It will also feature Road Sailing (RS) body kit that will add a sense of aggression to the exterior styling.
