Yamaha Aerox 125 LC specifications and price leaked in Indonesia – Report

The specifications of the Yamaha Aerox 125 LC have been leaked online via a spyshot of the product presentation slide. The price of the model is rumoured to be IDR 18.2 million (INR 87,578) OTR Jakarta and IDR 18.65 million (INR 89,743) OTR Central Java (Magelang and Kendal).

The Yamaha Aerox 125 LC is believed to be priced at IDR 18.2 million OTR Jakarta and IDR 18.65 million OTR Central Java (Magelang and Kendal).

The reported price suggests that the Aerox 125 LC will be positioned above its competitors including the Honda Vario 125 which retails at IDR 17.5 million (INR 84,203) and the 125 Vario CBS which is priced at 18.1 million (INR 87,109) OTR Jakarta. It would also be the flagship 125 cc scooter in Yamaha’s Indonesian lineup which comprises of the Yamaha GT125 (IDR 16.4 million / INR 78,957) and Yamaha Xeon RC 125 (IDR 15.75 million / INR 75,827).

The Aerox 125 LC is powered by a 125 cc liquid-cooled FI engine that produces 11.4 hp at 9,000 rpm and 10.4 Nm at 6,500 rpm.

As per the leak, the Yamaha Aerox 125 LC will be powered by a 125 cc two-valve SOHC liquid-cooled engine with a fuel injection system, that produces 11.4 hp / 8.4 kW of maximum power at 9,000 rpm and 10.4 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The scooter that is based on an underbone chassis, has a kerb weight of 102 kg, and features a disc brake upfront and a drum brake at the rear.
